About
Florian Innerkofler, (b. 1977) is an Austrian contemporary photographer born in Innsbruck, Austria. With over 30 years of experience in photography, he has worked extensively with both analog and digital photography, as well as international photography production.
His interest in photography began while studying architecture. After graduating from the State School of Photography in Austria with distinction, he moved to Vienna, where he began his professional career. He later assisted renowned photographer Andreas H. Bitesnich and worked with acclaimed Hollywood photographer Greg Gorman.
Throughout his career, Innerkofler has travelled extensively, working on international assignments from Vienna, New York City, Shanghai and Tokyo to Europe and the remote Arctic Circle. His commercial work has included photography for Vogue Beauty, Glamour, Marie Claire, L'Oréal Paris, Rimmel London, and Universal Music, among others.
For the past 10 years, Innerkofler has worked exclusively as a Fine Art photographer. His experience in fashion, portraiture, travel, and commercial photography informs his distinctive approach to creating atmospheric and cinematic photographic works.
